EdgeRender is a rendering runtime that compiles a React application into a set of streaming handlers deployable to edge workers. It was built to remove the cold-start penalty of container-based SSR while keeping the familiar component model.
The core is a scheduler that interleaves data resolution with HTML flushing, so the browser receives the document shell within a few milliseconds and progressively fills in slower regions. Median TTFB across production deployments dropped from 410ms to 38ms.
I designed the streaming protocol, the router integration, and the caching layer that keys fragments by their data dependencies.
